Whatever the source is water, steam or wind, measuring vibrations efficiently and accurately on turbines is a key issue. The choice for a trustworthy analyzer is crucial for both manufacturers and power operators. Acceptance tests are to be carried out with the highest possible efficiency. Integrating run ups and coast downs, systematic test procedures including dynamic and static parameters are carried out. A powerful integrated multianalyzer allows these tests to be achieved in a minimum amount of time.

Energy producers have to keep their installations highly efficient and operational. Vibrations are one of the key metrics to monitor their health and proceed to their maintenance. Structural analysis is necessary to detect and locate default on the machinery. OROS Modal 2 is the best tool to guide you through the different steps of this kind of analysis. Start with an efficient ‘Operating Deflection Shape’ and go further by making Operational Modal Analysis or response only measurement to identify modal parameters on the machinery in operation. Associating OROS Modal 2 with ORBIGate®, dedicated to turbomachinery, OROS offers a unique solution to cover all your needs in this field based on its rough vibration analyzers.

From upstream to downstream of the oil and gas extraction process, turbomachines such as compressors are daily operated. Downtime is critical and no compromise can be done on the quality of the test equipment. Vibrations, representative of the machine health, are subject to be captured under a number of circumstances: from the initial acceptance test at the manufacturer place to the fault diagnostic to be carried out on an offshore platform. Dedicated to vibration testing on Turbomachinery, ORBIGate® ease of use, combined with the portability and reliability of OROS analyzers, makes it the solution for your vibration tests on oil and gas turbomachines.

Troubleshooting and diagnostics operations require a diverse set of testing tools. The issue is always to reduce the vibration level, but the origin can be from multiple sources: high excitation due to unbalance, misalignment or instabilities or high structural coupling with the machine and its foundation. In this case, a number of tools such as ORBIGate®, OROS Modal 2, Balancing, or NVGate® the general platform for noise and vibration analysis may be required to solve the issue. If you are a consultant, you would need portable and rugged equipment such as the Mobi-Pack™. OROS can also offer you solutions for monitoring with some unique network capabilities (Large channels count with VibeMaster; Remote Vibration Monitoring with SysTeo)
