Up to 16 channels, the OR36 is dedicated for advanced needs in acoustic and vibration analysis measurements, for R&D as well as for testing. Coming with the OROS NVGate® software, the OR36 offers the horse-power and flexibility of a large system without compromising your mobility. The Mobi-Disk™, its local disk, is a unique feature which brings a solid confidence for your critical measurements.
OR36 is a synthesis of components usually used separately for measurements. Up to 16 channels plus the additional auxiliaries, large capacity integrated disk, front-panel, multiple DSP powered and internal battery, are just an overview of what OR36 offers. This modular analyzer speeds up and guarantees your measurements with its incomparable capacities. OR36 includes an acquisition front-end, with conditioning and sampling, a time domain recorder and the resources required to provide real-time processing of all inputs. It interfaces with any PC, notebook or desktop giving access to a wide range of functions such as report editing, project-based settings, and the availability of results in an office environment.

OR36 speeds up and guarantees your measurement process, taking advantage of multi-analysis and simultaneous recording capabilities. Multi-analysis allows simultaneous analysis of the inputs in different modes such as FFT, 1/n Octave and synchronous order analysis reducing your measurement to a single pass. Simultaneous recording of time domain data during measurements is available for post-analysis purposes or for safety backups. Post-processing and results analysis can be processed without the analyzer unit.
OR36 has been designed to handle day-to-day measurements. Integrating the best of OROS' 20+ years of experience in designing and manufacturing noise and vibration analyzers, this instrument contains the essential functions covering the entire measurement process in a compact unit. It addresses numerous application domains such as rotating machinery, industrial acoustics and structural analysis.

For the first time it is now possible to use the analyzer as a real data recorder, and this even without PC connected. Keep your data with you while sharing the instrument with your colleagues. Mobi-Disk™ is a rugged disk which is securely fixed in the analyzer. It can be removed and connected directly to the USB port of a PC for analysis and archive. You can record confidently, even in harsh environments, with this reinforced hard drive. The removable disk can withstand high vibration and shock allowing for operations in-vehicle and any other industrial environment.

As part of the 3-Series analyzers range, OR36 benefits from the innovative functions developed for the biggest systems. Whatever the situation, on-line measurement or office post-analysis, you run the same software applications, thanks to NVGate®, with or without OR36 connected. NVGate® comes as a standard with all the OROS analyzers. Recorder, Monitor, Waterfall and some macros are included in the standard package. Depending on your applications, NVGate® is enriched with optional modules. FFT, FFTDiag, Time Domain Analysis are dedicated to all your general vibration analysis. Order Tracking, Synchronous Order Analysis (SOA), Constant Band Tracking (CBT), Combined Tachometer Editor (CTE) and torsional converter (IVC) are proposed for your rotating machinery vibration analysis. 1/n octave and Overall Acoustics Meter (OVA) have been developed for industrial acoustics applications.
